This quote of “straight parents have straight kids” would make sense only if homosexuality would be entirely genetic inherited. As sexual orientation is heavily influenced by the testosterone level around the 7th week of pregnancy this is more epigenetic.

Another topic (not sure if this was also meant with the quote) is the legality of same sex couples adopting children and the religious bigots who want to prevent this on the fear children would be raised gay, following the long refuted nurture not nature teaching.

@garrick: Hopefully you've talked sense into your friend. But just to clarify, did he believe that homosexual kids came from the male-male and/or female-female relationship, or did he think they came from a gay* -lesbian set-up?

*meaning a homosexual man. If there's another term that's more specific, I forget. :/

Oh my…. This is the main reason why the catholic church is so Screwed up when it comes to the issue of homosexuality.. "Close Minded".. As if everything that was written in that book is true?!?..

Ok.. i know.. Most Filipinos Believe that the Bible is the "Absolute Truth".. But are you sure that the translation of the verse from the original form(language) is still the same with the Tagalog or English translation that we have now?..
