The Anti-choice advocates have been telling lies about the RH bill, spreading fear and confusion among the citizens of the Philippines.
Wearing yellow, these sinister fear-mongerers weaken the willpower of legislators and advocates who have been fighting for the passage of the RH bill.
But there is hope. For whenever truth and freedom are threatened, the FF Lantern Corps are there. Recently, they appeared in the UP Lantern Parade.
In solidarity with the UP Center for Women’s Studies the FF Lantern Corps marched, the lanterns on their chests symbolizing truth that overcomes lies, the green in their costumes symbolizing willpower that overcomes fear.
The UP lantern parade ended, and our heroes triumphed — they had fun, the crowd appreciated them, and awareness was raised for the RH Bill. But this is only one of the many battles the FF Lantern Corps will face. For they shall continue to fight for the RH Bill and other secular causes in creative ways, taking a stand for reason, science, and secularism. In brightest day, in blackest night.

Was this in Diliman? I totally would have come if I knew there was going to be a FF Lantern Corps march (even if a was totally wiped from the parade at UPM the day before) xDD

For the viewers who aren't entirely familiar with the Green Lantern Corps, Google up Sinestro. What makes this gimmick especially effective is that yellow power rings runs on the fear generated by its user on their victims, as compared to Green Power Rings, which run on willpower.

I'm so sad I wasn't able to come to this year's lantern parade. The folks in green tights would've been a pleasant surprise if I did.
Upon further observation, it seems that Cy is the only one who is in tights. Next year, everybody should be in tights! (As Captain Condom? Just submitting a suggestion…)

Could somebody please explain how research-backed scientific findings could become lies that confuse. Science has shown that several modes of contraception render their users susceptible to cancers. How can this be a lie?
A link to said scientific findings would be much appreciated.
As for the fear aspect, there's their assertion that Sex education somehow violates their right to free speech, and their flyer that tried to assert that condoms cause cancer
