What do you think about the latest “scandals” involving Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris, especially regarding women and Islam? I have been seeing lots of articles in liberal-leaning news sites (Raw Story, Salon, etc) and blogs (The Friendly Atheist) about their views on women and their views on foreign policy and Muslim countries.
Because based on the articles/posts that I’ve come across there seems to be a growing resentment towards these figures of “New Atheism” and I was wondering what your opinion on that is.
BTW I am also a secular humanist and had grown into my beliefs partly based on the books by these two figures about atheism.
