kailangan pa bang i-memorize yan??? let's have Part 2 of the writing contest :D

I just thought of an idea that could work. The winner gets to donate the prize to the FF library. But the winner gets to read it first and keep it in their personal library till someone borrows it. This way we could encourage writers and grow our library at the same time. What do you think?

      • wes says:

not bad. but let the winner choose the book this time around… it'd be fun if he chose to buy the bible or the koran :D

        • frank says:

So the prize is, we put the book of your choice in the FF Library, and you get first dibs? I like it. I could write to get more science books in the library. :)

          • Ryan Tani says:

            Yup. That's the idea.

I'm also thinking of a better way to judge entries. I'm thinking that those who have entries have the most say in who wins.

Anyway, we'll get to brainstorm about this some more this Sunday. If things go well the contest should be posted Monday morning :D

And those who have the most entries should have the most say in who wins. hehe

          • innerminds says:

@Wes: haha! And if someone writes a negative comment you can tell them to drown in their own drivel and read all of Ayn Rand's books over and over again until they agree with you.

          • wes says:

durn, there goes my brilliant plan to write an article praising objectionism[sic] because I know for sure a whole bunch of [virtual] people will vote for it.

if there's one thing I learned from this election, if you want instant support from a bunch of faceless people, you have to be willing to sell your integrity.

  2. innerminds says:

I think I know the story behind Item #2. :)

I hope you'll have a fruitful discussion on Item #4. Good luck guys! :)
