Cafe Scientifique is a series of events held with the cooperation of the Mind Museum, bringing science closer to people. The upcoming event in this series is Twenty-one Grams of Spirit and Seven Ounces of Desire. Maria Isabel Garcia, science writer and director of the Mind Museum will be talking about her new collection of scientific essays and the National Geographic Live Curious campaign. Maria Isabel Garcia has given a talk in the first Filipino Freethinkers Forum and we’re proud to be allied with her in championing science in the Philippines.

After Cafe Scientifique ends at 19:00, the Filipino Freethinkers will have a Science Interest Group meetup to talk about what more we can do to advocate science in the Philippines. Depending on the what the group wants, this would be either at Trellis at Market Market or one of the many coffee shops on High Street!
