FF Davao Meetup

Hi everyone,

I'm going to Davao for a high school reunion this Dec 21-22 and I'll be staying there for a few days after that so I'm hoping I could meet other freethinkers there. I've been reading posts by innerminds and Jobo about wanting to have a meetup in Davao. But before that...

You probably don't know me. I read and comment on the FF blog, and read the mailing list discussions, but I haven't participated in forum discussions (this is actually my first forum post), so let me introduce myself:

I'm Mikong, a Go player (my advocacy, I'm helping grow the Go community in the Philippines) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_(board_game). I'm a freelance web developer using Ruby on Rails. I'm a freethinker and an atheist. I like reading manga, watching movies, tv series, and anime, and reading non-fiction books. I graduated BS Physics and BS Computer Engineering from ADMU.

Anyway, it would be great if we could have a meetup in Davao. I have attended some of FF's events like a few meetups, the FFFF event, and the Rational Hero Salon, so I can share some stories about those.

Yes, that's what I (and probably Jobo) prefer. Getting drunk is probably the closest thing to a religious experience we can ever have.

My Dec. 23 (Wed) is open. I can meet you in the late afternoon or early evening. Do you like seafood? Any allergies? Preferences?
