I value life even more, and with an ease because there is no longer a nagging reminder of a certain threat or reward that is the afterlife. We finally found the value of things, beyond empty words and rituals. This is not a temporal place to consume and dump and leave. More people should enjoy life instead of be caught up investing in an afterlife. Oddly, my experience was the complete opposite. Awesome story.. I still go to church with my hubby once in a blue moon...really, just to respect my hubby's beliefs..He always tells me "our church need us (our donation)". While in church, i feel "different"', but since I am confident of who I am..it does not bother me at all. If you truly believe in yourself, then anything should not bother you...if you are happy with yourself, you cannot be moved by anything/anybody. Well written. Awesome story..
