indeed he said it! it was very clear, and a source of much consternation among his followers. some WANTED a political leader.

i actually agree with your second sentence. he can't, because of free will, he appreciates free will. he NEVER forced anyone to do anything, ala magic.

Saying that this Jesus character most probably never even existed all as there is no evidence for his existence and more against it; offends some Christians and some find it really disturbing that somebody might even say that. I know, I should really be careful about it next time.
